Pictures and a few words

hello everyone! Happy new year! I had a wonderful relaxing new year's eve with the family, baby Alexandra was delightful. Then we came home last night....and the crying HAS.NOT.STOPPED! She definitely has gas. She is squirmy and crying so much today and I feel so bad for her (and for me!) Not being able to "fix" everything for your child has to be the worst and most exhausting feeling. I am hoping that today is just a bad day. I am praying that colic is not setting in. I feel sad because she didn't cry very much all weekend at my parent's house and now at home its like she hates being here! I hope she loves me and doesn't wish she lived with her grandparents! (I know she loves me...but clearly she thinks crying is the best way to show it...??!$$##&*1!)

Anyways, I am currently enjoying a few minutes of peace and must go stare at/worship my beautiful non-crying daughter while I can! Wish me luck tonight!

Here are a few pics from the past 3 weeks (baby A is 3 weeks old today! Growing up so fast!)...

  1. Omg B did the same thing when we came home from Christmas weekend at my parents. Cried almost non stop for two days and I told the hubs "why doesn't he love me as much as he loves my parents?!?" Haha :) darn hormones! Hope A feels better soon!

  2. :-(

Don't have any solutions as mine is bottle fed and has my milk allergy so is on soy formula for gas. But I do know the 3 week growth spurt was a
Tough to get through. Hope you find a solution!

  3. Hang in there...you're doing great I'm sure. She is such a little cutie. It's awesome that you have these "does she hate our home" moments in writing because they will seem like a distant memory so soon. You'll laugh when you look back on them.

Keep us posted whenever you can...I love updates. :)

  5. She is adorable!! I am by no means any kind of expert and have no personal experience, but friends rave about Happiest Baby on the Block and the miracle blanket for soothing a fussy baby.

    Hang in there!

  6. She is a cutie! I'm so sorry you're feeling the love from crying. I know it's so hard when you know they have gas and you can't do anything to help them. Hang in there. B is 8 weeks old and I felt like at 6.5 weeks the crying for no reason thing totally stopped. Hang in there

  7. Aw I'm sorry you're not feeling the love from her. Hopefully things settle down for you both soon. She's beautiful by the way - I love her eyes!
